2026 International Booker Prize Longlist

The infamous International Booker Prize has released its longlist for the 2026 awards. Just thirteen books were chosen from the 128 submitted, which spotlight long-form pieces of fiction or short story collections that have been translated into English and published in the United Kingdom and Ireland in the past year. Works range from stories of trauma, love and warfare, showing the immense versatility of the longlist. The winning book will be announced on 19 May 2026 at Tate Modern in London.
