Social Media Manager at Newspaper Club
Closing Date: 23 November 2025
Salary: £200 per day (Freelance)
Location: Glasgow (Remote)
Are you interested in making newspaper printing more accessible? Want to have a flexible remote job within a small team of creatives and help shape the company? The Newspaper Club are looking for a Freelance Social Media Manager to join their marketing team.
The role will have you spread the digital reach of the Newspaper Club. Working alongside the Brand and Community Manager and CMO, you will manage the company’s social media by engaging with followers and potential brand partners, growing onto new platforms like Threads and testing content optimisation, researching trends that align with the brand and creating content from editing photos to making Instagram templates.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a year experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of social media platforms. You must know your way around Photoshop, Canva and CapCut. You will also have a passion for print media.
The position requires you to work 2–3 days a week for six months with the intention of becoming a permanent role. While the role is remote, you will be expected to provide support at in-person events with the ability to travel to Glasgow. Interested? Click here for more information.

Production Editor at EMC Design

Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you have an interest in the educational side of publishing? Bedfordshire-based company, EMC design, has opened a position for a Production Editor to join their specialist team.
EMC design is a design and printing agency that specialises in educational materials and have been in the industry for over thirty years. They have worked with huge clients in the publishing world, including Cambridge University Press, Pearson, Scholastic and Macmillan Education. As production editor, you will oversee the accuracy of EMC’s creative output, making sure everything is up to standard.
This role requires no prior experience, as the team at EMC believe in training all of their staff from the beginning. All they ask is for a candidate who is keen, enjoys structure, problem solving and can communicate well.
