The Publishing Post Celebrates Five Years of Championing Accessibility In the Publishing Industry

This July 2025, we are proudly celebrating our fifth anniversary.

Since its launch in 2020, The Publishing Post has grown from a small volunteer-led initiative into an award-winning platform with thousands of readers, an ever-expanding team, and a continued passion for the publishing industry.

Founded with the mission of making the publishing industry more accessible, The Publishing Post has published over 3000 articles packed with industry news, interviews, insights, book reviews, and career advice. The publication has become a vital resource for those looking to break into or grow within the competitive world of publishing.

Key Achievements Over the Past Five Years:
  • 100+ Issues Published: Biweekly content created entirely by volunteers passionate about publishing.

  • Over 600 Contributors: A collaborative platform that has offered opportunities to hundreds of aspiring editors, writers, social media managers and marketers.

  • Exclusive Interviews: Featuring prominent authors, editors, agents, and publishers, providing readers with behind-the-scenes insights.

  • Successful Alumni: Many former contributors have gone on to secure roles in major publishing houses, agencies, and literary organizations.

  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Worked with publishers, literary festivals, diversity initiatives, and industry influencers to expand its reach and impact, and host live events.
